Begin your sailing adventure by hiring a yacht in Victoria, on the island of Mahé. Victoria is the capital of Seychelles, with 90% of the population residing here and is also home to the main port. Mahé offers exquisite sailing – miles of dramatic tropical coastline, safe anchorages and many secret coves and romantic hideaways waiting to be explored.

Lying just off Mahe’s eastern coast are the delightfully unspoiled Inner islands of Cerf, Moyenne, Round and Ste Anne. The island of Praslin is just a hop, skip and jump away – home to world famous beaches and not to be missed. La Digue is also an island that should make it to the top of you sailing wish list – a place where time feels like it stood still and home to the world’s most photographed strand – Anse Source d’Argent. Slightly further a field (yet still within easy sailing distances for experienced sailing crew) are the Outer islands. They are less developed than the Inner islands and worth the extra effort and sailing time.
