Ron and Dave could not have been more welcoming. We walked the short distance from the ferry to the bungalows set in a lush tropical gardendown a quiet side road. Well equipped with stylish wood furniture and a huge bathroom. Outside was a covered verandah with deck chairs to sit out on and enjoy the peace. Within 5 mins walk was a well stocked supermarket, cafes, takeaways and internet cafe and beautiflu unspoilt beaches. Dave hired out bikes so we were able to cycle across the island and enjoy the scenery. They recommended the nearby Island Lodge buffet dinner which was excellent and we wandered leisurely through the Union estate down to Anse Source D'Argent. All in all an excellent base for enjoying an idyllic laid back island.

Fleur de Lys had simple but comfortable and well furnished bungalows for us. David, the owner, was very helpful with all of our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back to Fleur de Lys if we return to La Digue. Its extremely well located, close to town, and the kitchens are equipped with most things one needs, and the staff is very nice. We can highly recommend it.
